What the college says
Students who have a strong interest in art and design and wish to specialise in a particular field such as Fine Art, Photography, Graphic Design, or 3D Design. Those aiming to progress to university or a career in the creative industries, such as design, media, advertising, or illustration. Learners who wish to develop advanced technical skills, critical thinking, and professional art practice.
What you need to get on
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4 or above). GCSE Art or Design (Grade 4 or above) or a relevant Level 2 qualification with a strong portfolio. A keen interest in further developing your artistic and technical skills, with a desire to specialise in a particular area of art and design.
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
