The A level course consists of three papers taken at the end of a two year course examining the following topics: Compulsory content Social influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology, Approaches in Psychology, Biopsychology, Research methods, Issues and debates in Psychology Optional content Option 1 - One topic selected from the following: Relationships, Gender, Cognition and development Option 2 - One topic chosen from the following: Schizophrenia, Eating behaviour, Stress Option 3 - one topic chosen from the following: Aggression, Forensic Psychology, Addiction
What you need to get on
You will need a grade 6 in psychology or a grade 6 in science and maths
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
