Unit 3: Political ideas & ideology Four political ideologies are studied: conservatism, liberalism, socialism and nationalism involving key thinkers, views on human nature and core principles.

What you need to get on

General entry requirement for advanced level applies to this subject. You do not need to have studied history to GCSE. The Sixth Form minimum entry requirement is grade 5 and 4 in English (either language or literature) and mathematics, in any combination, plus three other GCSEs or equivalent at grade 4 / C.
