Students develop a knowledge and understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Applied Science is a qualification which enables students to explore the world of science in a practical and relevant way. The course is taught with a vocational perspective with a strong influence on the way that the investigations carried out link into the way which scientists work within industry. The topics covered are varied, ranging from the way which scientists work to the way the human body works to sports science.
