Note! Not Available as a Free Course For Jobs outside GLA or Devolved Areas. This is the second year of the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma and is a course for school leavers or mature students who want to retrain in the animal care industry. This course allows you to improve your animal experience and confidence through practical work with our range of reptiles mammals birds and paddock animals in our new animal centre facilities. It also helps to develop your academic skills in order to progress onto university or into the workplace.
What you need to get on
You will need to pass the first year of the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Animal Management and meet any other targets set by your study programme leader.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
