A two-year study programme that is ideal for learners looking for a full-time course specialising in the animal management sector, or who want to work in the animal industry or envisage a career in animal occupation(s) or animal technical role(s). The course introduces the skills and knowledge needed to work in the Animal management sector. Learners are offered the opportunity to develop a range of technical skills and attributes expected by employers, as it is expected that learners will apply their learning in relevant employment and sector contexts during delivery and have opportunities to engage meaningfully with employers. Learners will have the opportunity to work with different types of animals, from small to large domesticated and exotic animals, in order to prepare them for working in sector specialist areas.
