What the college says

"This session will help you develop a greater understanding of anger and its impact on thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. You will explore how anger can fluctuate like a pendulum, recognise the body's natural fight-or-flight response, and identify personal signs and triggers of rising anger using an anger thermometer. You will also examine the roots and underlying causes of anger, helping to increase self-awareness and emotional understanding. The session will introduce practical strategies and coping techniques that can be applied in everyday situations to manage anger more effectively, improve relationships, and support positive wellbeing. By the end of the taster, I will be able to: Recognise anger as being on a pendulum Understand the fight or flight syndrome Identify our own anger thermometer Realise roots of anger Recognise strategies to use in own situation"
