If you enjoy a combination of classroom and practical learning and would like the opportunity to work on real life business problems, this applied general course could be for you. Equivalent to half an A level you study it alongside A levels or other qualifications, or as the first year of a BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business. It will give you a broad overview of the business sector and the chance to apply your learning to the kinds of situations faced in business today. The course is a useful stepping stone to business related courses in higher education, or to business jobs and apprenticeships, but it will also give you transferable skills that can be used across a range of careers.
