Alternative Academic Qualification BTEC National in Applied Science (Extended Certificate)
at Kingsbridge Academy, Kingsbridge · school or sixth form
What the college says
BTECs offer practical experience that is often lacking in more traditional routes. Students have to undertake a number of Units for which they present evidence, based on real-life work and studies. This allows them to demonstrate their skill and knowledge in practical situations. Students are more engaged and motivated as a result, as they can see their own progress through the course rather than waiting to the end to sit an exam.
