What you need to get on

At least three GCSEs grade 3 (D) or above preferably English and maths. If you do not have these grades you would start on a level 1 course

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
