This course is designed to give you an excellent introduction to working in agriculture. The course has a good balance of theory and practical modules to help you learn and practice the skills needed to work in the farming industry. You will get hands on with the college sheep cattle pigs and poultry.

What you need to get on

4 GCSES at Grade 3 including English Maths and Science(Combined or Biology) OR a Level 1 pass in a related subject plus English or maths and both subjects must be at least grade 2 / Level 1 Functional Skills

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
