This specification is divided into different topics, each containing different key concepts of physics: Module 1 – Development of practical skills in physics Module 2 – Foundations of physics Module 3 – Forces and motion Module 4 – Electrons, waves and photons Module 5 – Newtonian world and astrophysics Module 6 – Particles and medical physics
What you need to get on
Grade 6 in physics plus a grade 6 in another science subject and a grade 6 in maths OR Grade 6 in higher tier Additional Science And grade 6 in higher tier Core Science and grade 6 in maths
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
