This one year course will provide opportunities to develop advanced coaching skills that are specific towards coaching in primary schools whilst developing inclusive coaching to a wide variety of different groups using the demographic to support your delivery method. Studying a CIMSPA course will allow you to achieve qualifications throughout the course. So, you can start employment within the industry early. Through this course, you will acquire valuable knowledge and skills that will empower you to pursue a fulfilling career in this field. You will develop effective, skills, knowledge, and behaviours to deliver high quality coaching sessions for mixed abilities across all specialisms with a focus within primary schools. Throughout your course, these skills will be closely monitored and evaluated whilst on work placement. This course will enable you to deliver advanced multi-skills coaching sessions that enhance participation rates whilst supporting individuals to develop their sporting abilities. By completing this course, you will be well-equipped to thrive in this exciting and fast-paced industry.

What you need to get on

This course is only available to 16-18 year olds. Four GCSEs at grade 4-9 including English Language or Maths OR Successful completion of the Coaching and Physical Activity (Multiskills) - Level 2 course, and grade 4-9 in GCSE English Language and Maths OR Successful completion of a Level 2 coaching qualification
