The UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts (Acting for Camera) course will give you the opportunity to gain the skills and experience to progress in the Performing Arts Industry, or in any industry you wish to go on to study or work in. Actors will collaborate closely with those on other Miskin programmes and work under intense conditions to learn the skills and discipline that their craft demands. Actors will perform in both stage plays and short films. The blend of the film acting focus with the critical foundations of stage technique will help the actor develop the skills and knowledge that are required in the industry. Some of the areas covered throughout the course are- Movement, Voice, Acting for camera, Acting for the theatre, Improvisation and Audition Technique. The Miskin will support you in becoming a well-trained, clear-thinking performer ready to take your first steps into the industry. You will also develop the skills that all employers are looking for, including teamwork, self-confidence, communication skills, self-motivation and the ability to meet targets.
