This course has been designed to prepare students interested in studying A Level or other Level 3 Humanities and Social Science subjects who: Narrowly (one grade below) miss the entry requirements for A Level/Applied General study Despite meeting the entry requirements, would like a transition year to support them to achieve their best grades because they have had an interrupted education in Year 11 or have mental or physical health conditions that may impact on their ability to be successful

Four GCSE’s grade 3 or above and some grade 4’s.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
