The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the professional body for Accounting Technicians and is sponsored by four UK chartered accountancy bodies. Whether you're about to take your first step on the ladder or think you can get more out of your career, the AAT will give you the knowledge and skills you need to go further and get the rewards you deserve. It will introduce you to the preparation of financial accounts, costing, cash management, VAT, the use of spread sheets and professional ethics.

What you need to get on

You will need to have a Certificate in Accounting Level 2 or a relevant Level 2 accounting qualification, or a HNC/D in Business and Finance. You also may have relevant work experience which may be taken into account. You will be required to have an interview/informal chat with the tutor before enrolling on this course.

How you are assessed

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
