The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the professional body for Accounting Technicians and is sponsored by four UK Chartered Accountancy bodies. Whether you're about to take your first step on the ladder or think you can get more out of your career, the AAT will give you the knowledge and skills you need to go far and get the rewards you deserve. The aim of this course is to introduce you to basic financial accounting, cost accounting and computerised accounting to enable you to work effectively in accounting and finance.
What you need to get on
Grade C in Maths or equivalent and an interview with the course tutor.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
