This level 3 qualification introduces you to more complex tasks in financial accounting and costing and is ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in Accountancy or Finance and who already holds a level 2 AAT qualification. You will learn how to prepare final accounts of sole traders and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and to prepare reports and returns. You are also required to register as a student directly with AAT and pay the one-off membership fee. This will give you access to a huge range of additional resources. Please enquire for current membership fees. This is an online course that requires independent study, therefore applicants must have internet access and their own suitable device such as PC or laptop. The college are unable to supply equipment. Please note a smart phone is not sufficient to study from for this course. Government funding is available however it is dependant on your home postcode and which area, devolved or otherwise, you reside in. What you need to get on

This course is for people who have achieved the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. To successfully pass this course, students will need an excellent level in both English and Maths (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent).
