What the college says

This course is ideal if you are new to bookkeeping or want to validate existing skills with a recognised AAT qualification. You’ll learn the role of the bookkeeper and how to produce accurate work while working ethically and securely. The content supports progression to Level 2 and can also help you move into entry level finance work or manage small business records. It’s a good fit if you want a clear starting point with one mandatory unit and an end assessment.

What you need to get on

Aged 19+ at the beginning of the academic year and will need to have the right to study in the UK and been a resident for a minimum of 3 years. Candidates are responsible for their own AAT registration and membership fee. Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
