This popular membership body awards nationally recognised qualifications by employers as tangible evidence of an employee’s competence on work related tasks. By achieving an AAT qualification, you will demonstrate: Tangible evidence of your accounting and finance skills; Your understanding of the latest accounting techniques and their application to the business environment; Your continuing professional development. Daytime and evening classes are available.

What you need to get on

Students must register directly with AAT in order to become an AAT student member. Under the new 2022 AAT Qualification, students will pay a one-off enrolment cost for the qualification they have subscribed to. This will then allow access to this qualification until standards are revised (which is typically every 4-5 years). Level 2 Certificate in Accounting registration cost is currently £172.
