You will also develop business communications and lifelong learning skills, applying what you learn on the course to the wider industry context. This course is assessed through computer-based exams and a synoptic assessment, which draws on and assesses knowledge and understanding from across the qualification. On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting. This internationally recognised AAT qualification enables those working in accounting or those who looking to pursue accountancy as a career to gain knowledge, practical experience and the all-important certification often sought by employers.
What you need to get on
A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9-4, including English language and Maths. AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping. AAT Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
