This course develops an understanding of principles and applications of science, practical scientific procedures, science investigation skills, laboratory techniques and their applications and analytical science. Each is equivalent to one A Level. This is a new AAQ Level 3 qualification that prepares learners for a range of higher education courses and job roles related to a particular sector. It provides progression either by meeting entry requirements in their own right or by being accepted alongside other qualifications at the same level and adding value to them.

5 Grade 4s including English and Maths plus Grade 4 Combined Science GCSE or 4 in Biology GCSE
