This qualification is intended for students who want to further develop their creative skills. This course provides opportunities to work with a range of materials and mediums with a strong focus on garment construction and surface pattern. This course will suit students that think outside the box, look at things from a different perspective, challenge their own ideas and thrive in a collaborative environment. Students must want to refine their practice and develop new skills. They may want to go on to careers in Costume, Tailoring, Fashion Design, Sportswear, Printwear, Ceramics and even surgeons!

What you need to get on

Typical grades needed 5 x GCSE at grade 4 or above. with a minimum grade 5 in the subject you wish to study or a related subject.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
