Psychology is the science of human nature and experience. It involves the study of the mind and behaviour, and it appeals to the sort of enquiring mind that would like to examine possible answers to the following sorts of questions: ‘Why do people obey orders, even if in some cases it means committing murder?’ ‘Why do we find some people more attractive than others?’ ‘What causes our love of celebrity culture?’ ‘Why do people develop phobias of certain objects/situations and where do these come from?’ ‘Does chocolate really make us happy?’

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
