Why should I take this course? There are a range of interesting subjects to study concerning human behaviour and how the brain works. It is a science which helps with other subjects that look at how research is conducted, and it is a subject which compliments other courses such as Law, Sociology and English. What careers might this course lead to? Anything that requires you to work with and understand people; e.g. marketing and business, counselling and social work, law and criminology, personnel, teaching, politics, etc. Course structure: AS comprises of six compulsory modules in the first year and A2 includes a range of topics to choose from in the second year.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs, including 6 in Maths and 5 in English

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
