A qualification in psychology can take you into university for further study and a wide variety of different careers. You will use and develop your communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving and independent research. When studying Psychology students are expected to take an active role and responsibility for their learning. The course requires independent study around the topic areas and this can take any form, book, journals, podcasts and YouTube.Students are required to attend all lessons offered to them alongside homework being completed to ensure that the fairest grade can be given for their work. What could I go on to next? There are many careers that recognise A level Psychology and the transferable skills that it offers. A few examples but this list is not exhaustive; Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, teaching and The Police Force.
