A 2 year course, AS Level is taken at the end of Year 1 and the A Level sat at then of the two year course. Course Outline Students study the main approaches to psychology in order to gain an understanding and insight into human behaviour and thinking. In particular, students study the importance of nature (what you were born with) and nurture (how you were raised) in making people who they are and how they are. Students also complete a series of short and manageable practical experiments, allowing them to develop an active knowledge of the scientific aspects of psychology. Units studied include: Unit 1: Introductory topics in psychology. Unit 2: Psychology in context.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
