We use the AQA programme of study. The papers are split as follows for AS Level: Paper 1: Introductory Topics in Psychology (Social Influence, Memory and Attachment) Paper 2: Psychology in Context (Approaches in Psychology, Psychopathology, Research Methods) For the award of the full A Level, the papers are split as follows: Paper 1: Introductory Topics in Psychology (as above plus Psychopathology) Paper 2: Psychology in Context (As above, but Psychopathology replaced with Biopsychology) Paper 3: Issues and Options in Psychology (options to be confirmed, but likely to be Relationships, Schizophrenia and Forensic Psychology)

What you need to get on

Grade 5 in English, Grade 5 in Mathematics and Grade 5 in a related subject preferably a Science subject.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
