The course offers an in-depth analysis of various explanations of human behaviour and looks at the application of these explanations to everyday life. The course looks at topics such as abnormal behaviour including schizophrenia, memory, attachment theory, social psychology including conformity and obedience, forensic psychology including offender profiling and theories of offending, relationships and the various psychological theories of behaviour. There is also a research methods element. Student quote: "Psychology is an interesting subject which looks into how we behave and why. The teachers make the lessons enjoyable."

At least Grade 6 in the GCSE English Language or GCSE English Literature and Grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics.
