We recommend that this course should be taken in conjunction with A level Maths as it helps with the skills necessary to be a successful Physicist. The topics covered in the first year include Mechanics, Electricity, Waves, Materials and the Dual Nature of Light. Topics covered in the second year include Further Mechanics, Fields, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Thermodynamics, Space, Radiation, Fields and Oscillations.

What you need to get on

Requires are at least a GCSE grade 6 in Physics or Combined Sciences, a minimum GCSE grade 6 in Maths and at least a GCSE grade 5 in English Language.
