Physics enables you to explore minute interactions at sub atomic levels to consider the mysteries of the expanding universe. You will study a vast range of topics including mechanics electricity waves optics nuclear physics and particle physics over the course of two years. By learning how fundamental science works Physics enables you to approach problems logically and is a valuable preparation for many careers.

What you need to get on

5 GCSE's at grade 9/A* to 4/C including English Language a minimum 2 grade 6/B's in Physics and a second Science or Double science and a grade 6/B in Maths. You will also be required to complete a GCSE to A Level Transition Project prior to enrolment to prepare you for A Level Physics.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
