Physics is the study of matter and energy and how they interact with each other. It deals with matter on scales ranging from sub-atomic particles to stars and even entire galaxies. On this course you will study a wide range of topics, including motion and forces, electrons, photons and waves. You will study how Physics plays its part in industry, medicine and cosmology. Units studied include: Unit 1 - Physics on the go. Topics include mechanics and the properties of materials. Unit 2 - Physics at work. Topics include waves, electricity and the nature of light. Unit 3 - Topics include further mechanics, electric and magnetic fields and particle Physics Unit 4 - Topics include thermal energy, nuclear decay, oscillations, astronomy and cosmology
