What the college says
The dictionary definition of physics is “the study of matter, energy, and the interaction between them”. This really means that physics is about asking fundamental questions and trying to answer them by observing and experimenting. Physics is a seriously useful subject for the majority of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) careers and you’ll find physicists everywhere, in industry, transport, government, universities, the armed forces, the secret service, games companies, research labs and more.
