Two year course. The Physical Education course at QE will enable you to understand and analyse the major concepts and principles underlying sport and physical education and to develop higher order thinking skills suited to life at University.

What you need to get on

Route A: achieve a grade B in GCSE PE. Route B: achieve a distinction in BTEC sport. Route C: If a student has not studied GCSE PE or BTEC Sport at KS4 they must achieve a B in GCSE Science and English and complete an interview to determine their suitability for the course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
