What the college says

British History from the late 18th to early 20th centuries, and European and World History in the 20th Century. The British breadth study looks at the evolution of British democracy 1780–1928. The study of 20th Century Germany and Italy, considers how each nation saw democracy vanquished by right-wing dictatorships and then subsequently regained. The economic and social development of Germany and Italy is studied in as much depth as their political evolution.
