The Core 1 and Core 2 modules develop the application of algebraic skills and techniques learnt at GCSE. You will also discover Calculus, learn more complex applications Trigonometry and develop a deeper understanding of se- ries and sequences. The Mechanics module covers: Forces, Momentum, Static and Dynamic particles, is most suited to students also sitting AS Physics and is a key component of many engi- neering courses."
