This course aims to make you think critically about the world of business. It covers ideas drawn from various disciplines, including economics, accounting, law, government and politics, sociology and psychology. It focuses on small to medium sized businesses operating within national, international and global markets and includes the teaching and learning of transferable skills such as calculations, interpreting and analysing data, applying knowledge to unfamiliar situations, developing arguments, presenting and making judgements and decisions.

For an A Level programme of study, we require students to have a range of at least five to seven GCSE passes at grade 5 or higher, including a minimum of a 4 in English and Mathematics, but students must also satisfy the minimum entry criteria for A Level Business below.
