This course is open to any student interested in British Government and Politics and the study of other comparative political systems. It would be an advantage to have an inquisitive and analytical mind. Students must be prepared to consult a wide range of sources particularly relevant texts, journals, newspapers and television coverage. Course availability is dependant on a minimum number of students applying.

What you need to get on

For applicants who wish to study 3 A levels and an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) they will require an Attainment 8 Score of 60pts to include at least a Grade 5 in Mathematics and English Language. A minimum of a Grade 6 is required in the subject to be studied at A level. For applicants who wish to study 4 A levels they will require an Attainment 8 Score of 68pts to include at least a Grade 5 in Mathematics and English Language. A minimum of a Grade 6 is required in the subject to be studied at A level.
