At A2 you will cover further mechanics, phenomena involved with gravitational, electric and magnetic fields, thermal physics and an optional topic.Studying physics at A Level will give you a better insight into the world around you from the very smallest (quarks and leptons) to the biggest (stars, black holes and galaxies) as well as covering the interactions that link all of these things. You will also complete a variety of practical work with a wide range of equipment from high precision measuring devices to state of the art data logging equipment.
What you need to get on
At least a grade 6 in core and additional Sciences and a 5 in GCSE Maths
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
