Studying English Literature: • Encourages you to develop an interest and enjoyment in literary studies through reading widely, independently and critically. • Provides you with an introduction to the traditions of English Literature and critical theory. • Introduces you to a wide range of literature from different cultures and perspectives.

What you need to get on

Standard Entry Requirements including GCSE Grade 5 or above in English Literature and GCSE Grade 5 or above in English Language. You must enjoy reading and relish the challenges presented by writers who are new to you.
