What the college says

The English Literature A level course aims to introduce students to a broad range of English Literature from across the centuries, from Shakespeare to contemporary poets, playwrights and novelists. Students will study a number of set texts, but will also be given the opportunity to explore work by writers of their own choice, in consultation with their teachers, in the coursework unit. As part of their coursework portfolio, this exciting new A level also gives students the chance to respond creatively to what they have read.
