English is an exciting and important qualification which will enable you to develop your skills and abilities, providing you with progression routes to higher education, employment or further training. A-level English Language and Literature improves your ability to apply and integrate linguistic and literary approaches. You will develop techniques of analysis, evaluation and production of texts.

At least 5 GCSE Grades 9 - 4 to include Maths; and Grade 5 or above in all English subjects entered.
