If you would like to further your knowledge, skills and understanding within the stimulating environment of 20th and 21st Century Design and Technology, you will have the opportunity with this A Level course. You will study Product Design and will learn about a variety of materials and manufacturing processes which will build upon your excellent knowledge gained in GCSE. We aim to inspire the designers and engineers of the future. If you have the enthusiasm and drive to creatively solve problems, produce high-quality prototypes with creative flair and learn about how design and technology impacts all aspects of our modern lives, Design and Technology is for you.
What you need to get on
Standard Entry Requirements including GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths. You are not required to have studied the subject at GCSE Level, although an ability to draw and communicate ideas is essential.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
