Aimed at School Leavers. A level Dance encourages creativity, imagination and the analysis of your own work and the work of professional dancers and choreographers. You will study performance skills, choreography, contemporary dance technique and performance analysis. You will participate in practical sessions aimed at developing your own ability as a dancer in preparation for performance, regular choreographic workshops and theory-based lessons to develop your understanding of dance and appreciate the integration of theory and practice.

What you need to get on

To study an A Level programme you will need to achieve a minimum of three grade 5s and two grade 4s at GCSE including English Language and Maths at grade 5. Each individual subject carries its own entry criteria and some subjects do require higher grades than this.
