Chemistry is the science which looks at how all matter is composed, what its properties are and how it reacts and interacts with other matter. It is the understanding of how reactions can be used to form new substances, how easily and quickly they can be made and how you can analyses and identify them.
What you need to get on
Students require 5 A*-C GCSE passes to enter 6th form. Subject specific criteria will be available at the open evening on November 3rd
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
