This course is for 16-19 year olds who have an interest in studying the world of business. The focus is on being a good decision maker. Students should have sound literacy and numeracy skills, and should be interested in current affairs broadly as well as developments in the business world and the economy. The ability to question and debate will be key to success in this subject.
What you need to get on
General Qualifications: For 3 A Level subjects you require 6 GCSEs grades 9-4 in academic subjects, taken in one sitting. In addition there are subject specific entry criteria which relate to the specific demands of the subject. Specifically for Business you will require a minimum of a Grade 5 in English Language and a Grade 4 in Mathematics.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
