What the college says

The business world is constantly changing and if students want to understand how businesses really work and how they survive in an increasingly globalised environment, then A level Business Studies could be just what they are looking for. This is a dynamic subject which does not stand still and combines well with many other subjects. In an increasingly competitive job market, work related skills are vitally important. A business course will develop valuable research and presentation skills, confidence with data handling, analysis and evaluative skills and the ability to approach problems and present written information logically.

What you need to get on

Our entry requirements are five grades awarded 9–5 at GCSE/L2 merit or above at BTEC/CTEC equivalent including a minimum of GCSE Grade 5 or above in English & Maths. For the A level programme a level 2 BTEC/CTEC Merit counts as an equivalent GCSE Grade 5.
