What the college says
A Level Business is useful for a range of careers, as it is a subject which covers a wide variety of topics, including marketing and finance. It also gives you the opportunity to start using skills within the classroom straight into the working world, whether that be a full-time/part-time job or your own business. The learning process will be varied, ranging from lectures, through student-centred activities, individual and group work. Youll also be expected to conduct at least four hours of reading and independent study outside of lessons and complete regular homework tasks.
What you need to get on
5 GCSEs at grade 9-4, including English Language and a grade 5 in maths.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
