What the college says

The General Certifcate of Education is part of the Level 3 provision. The Advanced Subsidiary GCE and Advanced GCE in Business Studies draw on the subject criteria for Business Studies, which are prescribed by the regulatory authorities and are mandatory for all awarding bodies. The joint Advanced Subsidiary GCE and Advanced GCE in Economics and Business Studies will cover approximately 50% of the subject criteria for Business Studies and approximately 50% of the subject criteria for Economics.

What you need to get on

A minimum of five GCSE passes graded at A*-C are required. We will be especially interested in your Grades for English and, GCSE Business Studies. You will need to have achieved B Grade in Business Studies or English. If you are able to achieve these standards you will be considered for the course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
