Studying the Subject This exciting and challenging course encourages students to build on the artistic skills, knowledge, and understanding acquired at GCSE. Through a series of practical projects, students will develop their intellectual, imaginative, and creative powers. They will demonstrate their ability and aesthetic understanding through drawing, painting, printmaking, alternative media and critical analysis.
What you need to get on
Subject specific entry requirements - Students should have achieved a minimum of Grade B in Art or an Art-related subject at GCSE. High levels of motivation and creativity are essential and students are expected to undertake a considerable amount of independent study.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
